In this kind of poetry, he has been able to establish a solid link between the virtues of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and the ruling political, social, and cultural conditions of his living period. Under the influence of Holy Qur'an and honorable hadiths, he has portrayed beautifully the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) through a mostly epic approach and a powerful and balanced emotion. Recalling some religious figures such as Imam Ali and Imam Hussein (PBUT), he tries to introduce them, out of the historical framework, being clothed by the new meanings retrieved from contemporary events of the society he himself lives in and to express the difficulties of the Islamic community. He also invites, using an expressive language, people to be aware and insightful and resist against tyranny and colonialism. Having the benefits of Imam Hussein's teachings and other heroes of Ashura in the course of the people uprising against tyranny, being supplicated to Imam Mahdi (PBUH), using consistent oratorical structures and the music matched by the concept of the poems, and utilizing literary modes and dynamic artistic images are f the features make his poetry distinguished.    سیدحیدر حلّی یکی از شاعران معاصر شیعی عراق در عرصۀ شعر دینی است. وی در این گونۀ شعری، توانسته میان فضیلت‌‌های اهل‌بیت^{(علیهم‌السلام)} و اوضاع سیاسی، اجتماعی، فرهنگی حاکم بر روزگار خویش، پیوندی استوار برقرار کند. وی با تأثیر‌‌پذیری از<em> قرآن </em>کریم و احادیث شریف، با رویکردی غالباً حماسی و عاطفه‌‌ای نیرومند و متعادل، سیمای اهل‌بیت^(ع) را به زیباترین شکل به تصویر کشیده‌است. او با فراخوانی شخصیت‌‌هایی دینی‌ای چون امام علی^(ع) و امام حسین^(ع) آنان را از چهارچوب تاریخی خارج ساخته و معانی جدید برگرفته از وقایع معاصر جامعۀ خویش را بر تن این شخصیت‌‌ها کرده و مشکلات و دشواری‌‌های موجود در جامعۀ اسلامی را بیان کرده و با اسلوبی شیوا، مردم را به بصیرت و آگاهی و پایداری و مبارزه برضد استبداد و استعمار فرا خوانده‌است. بهره‌‌‌مندی از آموزه‌‌های حسینی و قهرمانان عاشورا در راستای قیام مردم برضد استبداد و استغاثه به امام زمان^(ع) و به‌کارگیری ساختارهای خطابی استوار و موسیقی متناسب با مفهوم اشعار و بهره‌‌مندی از اسلوب‌‌های ادبی و تصاویر هنری پویا و متحرک، از ویژگی‌‌های بارز شعر اوست. https://jlcr.ut.ac.ir/article_65524_e47602c19dc3e1900545c8e04fd56d42.pdf
